Introduction

Fellow Partners,
If you’ve come to this site because you are fed up, you are afraid or just plain curious you are welcomed here. We ask that each of you remain anonymous. Too many times when we have this discussion, or simply mention this word we are removed, silenced and persecuted forever. We’ve had to resort to something that leaves us anonymous. Our corporate culture has given us a back seat, has held us to “high standards” which have begun to interfere with our way of life, and the life we provide for those we love in addition to our children. Our rules change every 10 minutes, we are moved into different queues, taking different calls, having our job descriptions changed and changed again.

In this corporate culture they claim us to be versatile, but I say we have lost our identities. With this winning excellence that we are required to provide, our job security is threatened. We are given more numbers to manage, and must work harder and harder each year while our empowerment becomes less and less with blurring quickness. When we want to move forward it just so happens that our manager’s friends seem to always be a little more ahead of us. That when it comes down to disciplinary action, some seem to get away with more then others?

The very culture of our company has choked out the voice that they claimed to have given us. Our “partner atmosphere” is only limited to the input of what they want us to tell them, not necessarily what is on our minds, or how we really feel we can make a difference. Every month we are more limited in what we are allowed to do and given extra workload and rules to confine us. If any of us speak out and attempt to pave our own destiny in this company, we are removed for one reason or another. If we cannot be removed we become so bitter at the stasis of our situation we grow tired of the fight and leave.

We are being sold outright not just for money. We are being sold out for the sake of ego, greed, and desperation. We do more than any other person at any other company in our low levels, yet we get no raises? They claim job cuts and bad economy, but in the years before we saw nothing of the return in the time and effort we’ve invested. Now this time it’s a new excuse. We’ve seen this company burn through as much money as it could get its hands on to build wimax, we’ve seen the our corporate culture sellout to the highest bidder, yet they do not pay the people who take care of their customer base. We support them, make their computers run, their internet work.

We provide quality and excellence that is UNHEARD OF from any other company in the united states. When they call to cancel WE save them, we hold onto the proposed revenue, and even do our best to make the proposed revenue increase. We watch our stock prices fall as low as they have ever been, yet we haven’t even been offered that as a recompense. Wheres our 5%? Wheres our raise? when we were driving all the way out here from Pensacola, defuniak, crestview, and fort Walton beach when gas was 4 dollars a gallon where was this company? Where was our raise? now that prices are soaring through the roof on anything and everything, where was our raise? They’ve promised rewards beyond imagine, they promised everything to us In the form of wimax, they promised growth, and that Clearwire would be the land of milk and honey.

The time has come for us to stand with one voice to ask for what we believe is rightly ours. Fair treatment, we can’t all be the manager’s special friends. Raises to help us weather these tough economic times. We’ve shown and given consistent quality, commitment to excellence, and standards of service above and beyond anything other companies can provide. From our field technicians to our call center workers we show everyday that we live the corporate culture of a unique customer experience. In many ways we have lived the superior employment experience, but in many more ways we know the company has not lived up to the expectations they have set.

We made this website to discuss this, to air our grievances, and discuss what can be done to alleviate these current situations we are all in together. So far many of our partners have begun to question whether or not union presence is needed to collaborate and collectively bargain for better conditions in the work place.

In Solidarity,
A Rather Concerned Partner

My vote is job security as the most pressing. as I don't believe it's good that management can pretty much fire you at the drop of a dime.

Another more pressing issue I think is the wages, sure CW has some good wages, but we should have an active part in the way that we are compensated. so that the recent "oh by the way, there wont be any merit raises this year and you might not get any stock options as well"

going by that pattern we could walk into work one day to a "oh by the way we went ahead and downgraded the coverage that we will offer for your insurance"

You get the idea, I think we need representation so that we are included in the decision that affect us, our benefits and our duties.

One of the main things that we see is favoritism. It is rampant in the place. The same people are up walking around selling potatoes and hotdogs all the time. I know there are more than just 3 people on the spirit team that them.
